Shachi is a budding writer, picture book reviewer, and a storyteller, with a singular focus on introducing children to a new language and culture through picture books. Raised in India, Shachi moved to Round Rock, Texas a couple of years ago with her husband to begin a new life. To further share her passion for children’s literature, Shachi also started www.storiesbyshachi.com as an online resource for contemporary children books and educational materials for parents who wish to teach their children about Hindi as a second language and culture outside of their own native language of English.
