See Priya's story come alive!
The Story
Priya loves being with family and friends to watch fireworks and celebrate Diwali — the colorful decorations, shimmering fireworks, and gathering of loved ones always fill her heart with joy.
But this Diwali is quiet. Here in her new home, the streets are empty and nothing is decorated. Priya misses the traditions in India. The delicious smells of cardamom and warm ghee, the colored sand rangoli on the porch, and strings of twinkling lights begin to capture her new neighbours' curiosity.
As Priya's family invites their neighbours to join the celebration, something beautiful happens — and even though this Diwali is different, it's still Diwali. ✨
